Michael Jackson is suffering from a rare lung condition and need an emergency transplant operation according to an author who is writing a biography about Michael.

Author Ian Halperin claims that Michael is too weak for surgery and that he may be fighting for his life. Michael has been diagnosed with Aplha 1 antitrypsin deficiency a genetic condition that can be fatal in some cases. The author also claims that Michael is so ill he can barely speak and has lost 95% vision in his left eye.

Ian said :
“He has had Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency for years but it’s gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. It’s the bleeding that’s the most problematic part. It could kill him. For years, Michael has been working with his doctors to try to make sure it doesn’t progress. He has been on many medications that have stabilised him. He can barely speak. The vision in his left eye is 95 per cent gone.”

Michael Jacksons rep refused to comment on this story but Michael's Brother Jermaine said "He's not doing so well right now. This isn't a good time."
