Not literally, unfortunately. The Oscar-nominated Rachel Getting Married actress will not be making a cameo on the CW's guilty pleasure drama anytime soon.
However, Serena van der Woodsen will soon be meeting her very own Raffaello Follieri. That's right, Gossip Girl's leading lady is getting a new love interest - one based on Hathaway's jet-setting, Italian, white-collar criminal ex-boyfriend.
Moreover, Serena's relationship with Gabriel or Giorgio (accounts of the character's name differ) will take a dark turn that Hathaway luckily avoided - and lead to the return of Georgina Sparks in the unfamiliar role of savior. Now that should be something!
